Company Background
History and Development
Lian Tat Company (LTC) was established on March 12, 1959. Since inception, it has been acting as a resource integrator by sourcing machinery tools and turnkey equipment from Europe and USA to assist industrialization of local companies.
Since 1980, LTC expanded business scope to source diesel engines for marine and power plant applications by associating with leading brands such as MAN, MTU, Alstom, etc. Its customers include Taiwan Navy, Customs, Coast Guard, Taiwan Power Company, shipping companies such as Evergreen, ferry owners and operators, etc.
Establishing a full-fledged marine engine service workshop in 1994, LTC set a new milestone in its history. With establishment of the workshop, and a strong service team providing timely on-site and workshop service, LTC has created unparalleled sales and service records for the fleets of Taiwan Navy and Coast Guard.

LTC is not limited in marine engineering, though it is best recognized in this arena. Looking forward, LTC will leverage its financial strength, technical competence, solid connection and industry knowledge moving into new ventures.
We are actively making alliance with local and global players, searching for reliable partners with specialized competence to develop or expand their markets in Asia Pacific, and provide strong local service support whenever and wherever needed. In the meantime, we keep integrating local talents and resources to form partnerships for ongoing and new projects, including, but not limited to offshore wind farm marine engineering works.
